Every year, CUPE 241 holds a turkey drive to raise donations for the Guelph Food Bank. Members bring in their donations of cash and nonperishable food, and go home with a turkey to share with their loved ones over the holidays.
This year, Turkey Day will be Friday, December 11th, from 9am-5pm at Riverside Park, near the carousel.

Last year, CUPE 241 members donated 328 pounds of groceries, 376 pounds of turkey, and $1724 cash. The Guelph Food Bank looks forward to our donation every year – let’s try to do even better in 2026!
